How your data is handled

I — Lutz Eckelmann, operator of Mas Luna — take your data seriously. This page tells you what data is collected, how it's used, and what rights you have.

You can view or delete your data without writing me an email — confirmation runs through a one-click link in your inbox, two minutes start to finish.

What data is collected

When you book directly: name, email, phone, dates of stay, payment data (handled by Stripe, never stored here), optional message. This data is needed to process the booking.

When you sign up for the newsletter: email and language preference. Used solely for the newsletter.

When you contact me via the form: name, email, message. Used solely to reply.

When you visit the website: anonymous analytics via Umami (self-hosted, GDPR-compliant). No cookies, no tracking across sites.

Where the data is stored

On a server in Germany (Hetzner). Backups on GitHub (Germany). No data is shared with third parties except the providers strictly needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email).

How long the data is kept

Booking data: 10 years (legal requirement). Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Contact form: 1 year. Analytics: aggregated, anonymous, no retention limit.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. Contact me at hola@masluna.es to exercise these rights.

Cookies

Mas Luna does not use tracking cookies. Functional cookies only (e.g. for the language preference).

Newsletter

Double opt-in. You'll receive a confirmation email after signing up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter email.

Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland). Your card data is sent directly to Stripe and never stored on Mas Luna's servers. Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.

Resend

Email delivery is handled by Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Email addresses are processed solely to send transactional emails (booking confirmations, etc.). Privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
