Cambrils — fishing village turned town
The historic fishing port is still working. The harbour quarter has dozens of seafood restaurants — choose one with locals at the tables. The promenade is good for an evening walk.

The 'Golden Coast' — named for the colour of its sand. Twenty-five minutes from Mas Luna, you can be swimming. The coastline runs from Tarragona in the north to the Ebro Delta in the south.

Cala Crancs
A small cove south of Salou, less developed than the main beach. Snorkelling, calm water, pine trees down to the rocks. Best in the off-season.
Miami Platja
Quiet beaches between Cambrils and the Ebro Delta. Long stretches of sand, fewer crowds, cleaner water.
PortAventura
One of Europe's largest theme parks. With kids: a great day. Without: avoid. The Ferrari Land section attracts car enthusiasts.
Salou
The summer party capital. If that's what you want, you'll like it. If not, stick to Cambrils or the smaller beaches.
