Terms & Conditions

These Terms apply to bookings made directly via masluna.es. Bookings via Airbnb, Booking.com, BringFido, or Hundeurlaub.de are subject to the respective platform's terms.

1. The contract

The booking contract is between you and Lutz Eckelmann (Mas Luna), C-242 Km 61, 43365 Alforja, Tarragona, España.

2. Booking process

Your booking is a request, not a confirmation. After submitting, I check the dates against external calendars and confirm within 1–4 hours. Only after my confirmation is your booking final.

3. Payment

30% deposit when booking, 70% remainder charged automatically 14 days before arrival. A €150 security pre-authorization is placed on arrival day and released after departure if no damages occurred.

4. Cancellation

  • Up to 7 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit
  • 7 to 2 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit refunded
  • Less than 2 days before: no refund

For force majeure (illness, travel restrictions, etc.) I'm flexible — talk to me.

5. Arrival and departure

Check-in: 4 PM onwards (earlier on request). Check-out: by 11 AM.

6. House rules

  • Mas Luna is a private home. Please treat it as such.
  • No smoking inside. Smoking allowed in the garden.
  • No parties or events.
  • Quiet hours from 11 PM to 8 AM.
  • Dogs welcome — bring their bed/blanket. Owners are liable for any damage.
  • Pool use at your own risk. No diving in the shallow end.

7. Tourist tax

The Catalan tourist tax (Generalitat de Catalunya) is included in your room rate.

8. Liability

I'm liable for damages caused by gross negligence or intent on my part. For valuables, please use the lockable space provided. For lost or damaged personal items, no liability is assumed unless I caused the loss.

9. Pre-authorization

The €150 pre-authorization is reserved, not charged. If damages occur during your stay, the corresponding amount is charged. Otherwise, the hold is released within 7 days of departure.

10. Force majeure

If Mas Luna becomes uninhabitable due to force majeure (fire, flood, etc.), the contract is dissolved and amounts paid are refunded.

11. Applicable law

Spanish law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Tarragona.

12. Severability

Should any provision of these Terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.

13. Changes

These Terms can be changed for future bookings. Bookings already confirmed are subject to the version of the Terms valid at the time of booking.
